Tri County Trap League

Baldwinsville Rod & Gun Club participates in the Tri County Trap League annually by forming a Trap Team and hosting a number of Trap shoots on Wednesday evenings during the spring and summer months. Participants shoot at 25 standard ATA Trap targets and each team tallies its top 5 scores to determine which team won that evening’s competition. All the teams in the league travel to one of the league’s club locations weekly. Trap shooters of ages 12 years old or older and ALL skill levels are welcome to join the league. Check with Dave Urban, Peter Roberts or Chris Pollichemi for more details.

NRL22

The National Rimfire League 22 is a monthly event designed to develop marksmanship skills for those participating in the shooting sports. The goal of NRL22 is to make precision rifle shooting more available to every community. Matches are geared toward shooters of all ages. Relatively low equipment costs reduce the barriers to entry of traditional long range shooting.

Notice to members: During the event (typically 8am-2pm), several benches on the right side of the rifle range will be unavailable which will restrict access to the 100 and 200 yard targets. We are able to avoid fully closing the range but please be aware that firearms on the louder side such as 5.56, .308, or .357 can be disruptive to the event and we ask you to refrain from shooting these until the event has ended.

We hold matches on the third Saturday of the month (rain dates and exceptions apply) and the cost is $10 per shooter. No pre-registration is needed unless indicated in the schedule, though we prefer RSVP when possible. Event start may be delayed if no shooters are present to assist during setup.

Baldwinsville Action Pistol League

NRA Action Pistol is a dynamic discipline within the “Action Pistol” shooting sports. It is a
combination of speed and accuracy, weighing more on the accuracy aspect, with speed still playing a major factor in your ability to put up a good score.

This combination is what makes NRA Action Pistol such a fun, challenging and exciting discipline. Being able to draw a pistol from holster, fire 6 rounds in 5 seconds into a paper plate sized scoring area, is a lot of fun and very challenging. The confidence gained in your marksmanship from shooting NRA Action Pistol will be noticed when shooting other popular “Action Pistol” shooting disciplines offered around the country such as USPSA, IDPA, ICORE and PPC
