The National Rifle League 22 is a monthly event designed to develop marksmanship skills for those participating in the shooting sports. The goal of NRL22 is to make precision rifle shooting more available to every community. Matches are geared toward shooters of all ages. Relatively low equipment costs reduce the barriers to entry of traditional long range shooting.
We hold matches on the third Saturday of the month (rain dates and exceptions apply) and the cost is $10 per shooter. No pre-registration is needed except during winter months, though we prefer RSVP when possible. Event start may be delayed if no shooters are present to assist during setup.
Course of fire and recommended equipment can be found in the documents posted here: https://nrl22.org/downloads/.
You can email us at email@example.com if you have any questions. Per New York State law, all shooters must be at least 12 years of age. For those interested in tracking scores at a national level, the club will cover the yearly NRL club registration cost and monthly score submission cost. NRL seasons run May 1 – April 30.
Note: During the event (typically 8am-2pm), several benches on the right side of the rifle range will be unavailable which may restrict access to the 100 and 200 yard targets.
Course Setup: 8:15am (please consider coming out to assist)
